Retkivuokraamo Oy is a company founded by three childhood friends in Oulu, Finland. Camping and hiking are our biggest passions, and we spend a big portion of our free time. The idea to found the company came through our vast experience in the field. We found that there was a dire need for affordable camping rental services in Finland and buying your own equipment is expensive We decided to change that. Our company rents quality-made camping equipment in affordable prices. It is our pleasure to guide new campers in starting their expeditions and answering questions, whatever they might be. One does not need to own every piece of equipment and renting gear is extremely convenient. By renting instead of buying, you also make a better choice for environment, which is vitally important to us. We also take suggestions on products you may want to use, but do not wish to buy yourself.
From dawn till dusk
We met each other in primary school. Common interests, bad humor and love for outdoors made us spend a lot of time with each other. We have always loved to make outdoor trips. Our first longer trek was in Kilpisjärvi in 2017. From there we got the inspiration for longer travels and moving outdoors. We travel all the time, and on each trip we learn new things about ourselves, each other and moving in the great outdoors.

Our service location is located in Hiltusentie 1, storage hall 6, Oulu.
When making your reservation the rental time starts when picking up your equipment. We will be on site as agreed on service time from 10 AM to 6 PM. Self service is an option outside service hours. You will receive a personal code and instructions.
Let us know if you are late or are unable to pick up your product on time.
We can also send the products via Matkahuolto in service points inside Finland. The customer will pay the rent once the product is sent.
You may also order the rental equipment to your home for additional fee. Orders must be made by email 3 days before starting date. Email: retkivuokraamo@gmail.com
