Retkivuokraamo offers high-quality winter camping and water activity equipment at affordable prices. Additionally, we rent out the Finnish-made Savotta Hawu 8 tent. By renting instead of buying, you save both nature and money- you need not own every piece of equipment. We prioritize product and service quality, and feedback is important to us. We welcome suggestions for new rental equipment and improvements to our service. Winter equipment
Retkivuokraamo offers winter camping equipment, including off-trail mobility gear with universal bindings and sleds for transporting equipment. Water equipment
Retkivuokraamo water activity equipment includes inflatable SUP (stand up paddle) boards and packrafts. Inflatable equipment boasts a number of advantages, such as being lightweight, easy fitting to a car or a backpack and convenient carrying. Retkivuokraamo always provides a backpack with the product, making it easy to transport along with its accessories.
SUP boards are enjoyable watecrraft for summer. They are great for paddling around, floating and spending a relaxing summer day alone or with friends. SUP boards are perfect for short summer outings, spending time on local waters, or enjoying a vacation in various scenes Northern Finland has to offer.
Packrafts are an excellent companion for both long and short trips, adding a whole new dimension to outdoor activities. They provide a comfortable and safe ride and can carry a significant amount of gear.
A packraft is suitable for both short trips and longer journeys lasting over a week. These inflatable vessels weigh only about 5 kilograms, including gear, yet are highly durable and versatile. They can be used on lakes as well as rapids.

Tents
Rent a tent from Retkivuokraamo. Retkivuokraamo offers a selection of tents, including the Hawu 8 tent, Frilufts Errigal 3XT tent, Sputnik-3 tent, and UP2 and UP5 tents.
The Hawu 8, UP2 and UP5 are squad tents, designed for approximately 5-10 people. The UP2 and UP5 are also suitable to for use as saunas. The Frilufts Errigal 3XT is a lightweight tunnel tent for three hikers. The Sputnik-3 tent is specifically designed for winter camping and accommodates 2-3 people.
If you’re looking for more traditional bigger squad tent for your camping ground, we highly recommend the Hawu 8. This 5-8 person tent is suitable for all conditions and is an excellent choice for group hikes and hunting trips. It has been tested in arctic conditions and has performed exceptionally well. The tent comes with all necessary equipment, including a stove and ground cover.

Camping stoves and backpacks
Retkivuokraamo offers rental camping stoves and backpacks. Currently the available backpacks are Fjällraven Kajka models W75, W85 and W100, with capacities ranging from 75 to 100 liters. Kajka backpacks are popular due to their ergonomic design, numerous pockets and zippers and their excellent durability. They are reliable and resistant to wear and tear.
The camping stoves available for rent include Trangia and Primus models. The Trangia stove comes with a multi-fuel burner that operates on propane gas, gasoline, diesel and paraffin, making it an excellent choice for demanding expeditions in cold conditions. The Primus Mimer is a lightweight, easy-to-use gas stove, perfect for simple and efficient outdoor cooking.
