Sputnik-3 is the smallest and lightest tent in the Bereg series. Designed for year-round camping for about 3 people, the tent stands 1.55 meters tall and is 2 meters wide. It is made from the same materials as other Bereg tents, featuring a flexible “umbrella-style” frame constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum.
The Sputnik-3 tent is extremely quick to set up – assembly takes only about 30 seconds. It has two windows and is compatible with a stove. The Sputnik is a perfect tent for cold conditions and can be easily pulled on a sled.
Benefits of the double-layer construction
Bereg Sputnik-3 is a versatile, double-layer, three-person tent with a four-rib aluminum umbrella frame. It features two five-layer windows with mosquito nets, transparent plastic covers, and ventilation options. The entrance has a three-layer doorway with a mosquito net in the middle layer.
The double-layer design creates an air gap, which helps maintain a comfortable temperature inside the tent, regardless of wind, heat, or extreme cold. Any condensation that forms will settle between the fabric layers rather than inside the tent.

The frame is made of 8mm aircraft-grade aluminum alloy, which offers high resistance to cold and exceptional strength. This ensures that the tent can withstand significant loads and will return to its original shape even after prolonged stress.
The tent fabric is made of durable, moisture-repellent Oxford fabric with polyurethane coating. The outer layer is made of PU 4000mmAq Oxford 300 fabric, while the inner layer is made from PU 2000mmAq Oxford 210 fabric. The tent seams are sealed with high-quality waterproof tape.
The Sputnik-3 tent is fully equipped for a wood stove installation. It features a chimney opening made of fire resistant fabric, with a 70mm stainless steel ring and a removable fireproof fabric cover with Velcro, which protects the tent wall from heat damage. A Winnerwell wood stove from Retkivuokraamo is available for rental as an add-on.
The tent frame has three folding points, allowing for compact packing during transport (packed size: 0.85 x 0.2 x 0.2m). For easy carrying, the tent comes with a water-repellent fabric carrying bag.
